Alpha Delta Pi will be hosting ADPICNIC on April 7th, 2018! This family-friendly tailgate will be held on the front lawn of the Alpha Delta Pi house. Come enjoy food, fun, & games to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. There will be a cornhole tournament for student organizations, family members, alumnae and anyone that wants to participate. There will also be food, raffles, lawn games, facepainting, and a DJ. Fundraising efforts will take place through event ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, cornhole team registrations, and sponsorships. 

After the picnic, we will attend the TCU vs. Oklahoma baseball game at Lupton Stadium to cheer on the Frogs! Join us at the game and purchase discounted tickets online with promo code "ADPICNIC".

How to Participate

People can participate in our event by buying a raffle ticket, buying an ADPICNIC event ticket, and/or registering to play in the cornhole tournament to compete to win the grand prize. Tickets and registration can be purchased at https://adpi.crowdchange.co/2060. Learn more about how to compete in the cornhole tournament and win the grand prize below.

Each team will consist of 2 players.

Ticket sales & cornhole team registration close on April 6th.
Entry tickets can be purchased at the event on April 7th with cash, check or PayPal for $10. Tickets purchased the day of will not include food.

Competition Criteria

Each team will be given a score for each of the following categories:

Cornhole Participation Pop-Tabs
Point Amount: Win → 5 points $5 → 1 point 1 mason jar → 10 points
Description: The cornhole tournament will be played single elimination style. A team will be rewarded 5 points for every round they win. Every team will have a team page on our Crowd Change ticket website where they can encourage friends and family to purchase ADPICNIC event tickets, raffle tickets, and/or make a donation. Ronald McDonald House Charities nationally collects pop-tops and recycles them as a small and symbolic effort to raise funds for its families. Points are earned based on how many pop tabs are collected.

Creating a ADPICNIC Competition Team

In order to qualify as an ADPICNIC team and have the chance to win some great prizes, you must do 3 things by April 6th. We encourage each team/organization to have as many members as possible participating in this event. The more members you have participating, the more likely you are to win our competition! Thank you for helping us make this year’s ADPICNIC a successful event!!

  1. Fill out a team information form to the right/below.

  2. Submit a $40 registration fee at https://adpi.crowdchange.co/2060. This includes entry into the event, 2 tickets to win a Google Home raffle item, food, and entry into the competition.  

  3. After registering, click “create a team” on the Crowd Change website so you can begin encouraging friends and family to support you! Here are the steps to create a team page:

In addition to registering, you must attend the event on April 7th from 4:30-6:30pm at the Alpha Delta Pi house to play cornhole.


Prizes

The Grand Prize will be awarded to the team with the highest number of points from all 3 categories. Prizes will also be awarded to the team with the most points in each category.

  • Grand Prize: $100 Visa gift card for each player

  • Cornhole Tournament Team Winner: Customized set of cornhole boards and bags

  • Participation Team Winner: $25 Visa gift card for each player

  • Pop-Tabs Team Winner: $25 Visa gift card for each player

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides families who have a sick child with a “home away from home” while their child receives medical help. Working with the Ronald McDonald House gives members of Alpha Delta Pi a common goal for the service of others. Our chapter, Gamma Chi, is lucky to have a Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth, TX. Each month Alpha Delta Pi members go to the house to cook meals for the families and play with the children.

Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.
